Privacy Policy
Effective September 18, 2026
The public KeptCap website and synthetic demonstration environment are not intended to contain real bank customer data.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how KeptCap handles information in connection with keptcap.com, app.keptcap.com, and communications sent to KeptCap through the contact information published on those sites.
Bank-hosted KeptCap deployments are designed to operate inside a bank-controlled environment. Data handling for a bank pilot or production deployment is governed by the applicable agreement with that institution and its security and privacy requirements.
2. Information we receive
Information you choose to provide
If you email us, request a demonstration, or otherwise contact KeptCap, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, business email address, employer, role, message, and other information you include.
Technical information
Our hosting, DNS, security, and email service providers may process standard technical information needed to operate and protect the services, such as IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps, requested pages, and security or diagnostic logs.
Bank data
The synthetic demo at app.keptcap.com uses synthetic institution and customer information. It should not be used to upload or submit confidential bank data, customer data, credentials, account information, or other regulated information.
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and demonstration requests.
- Operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website and demo.
- Understand product interest and improve KeptCap.
- Prepare and manage pilot or commercial discussions with institutions.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, security, and integrity of KeptCap and its users.
4. Cookies and advertising
KeptCap does not currently use the public website for behavioral advertising. We do not currently sell personal information for advertising purposes. Infrastructure providers may use essential technologies required to deliver, protect, and operate their services.
5. Service providers and disclosure
We may use service providers for website hosting, domain and DNS services, email delivery or forwarding, security, and related infrastructure. They process information on our behalf or as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a corporate transaction.
6. Retention
We retain contact and business correspondence for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain business records, or to meet legal and security requirements. Infrastructure providers may retain technical logs according to their own service configurations and policies.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the current stage of the service. The public demo is synthetic. Real-bank deployments are designed around bank-controlled infrastructure, data minimization, deterministic decision logic, and bank-approved security controls. More detail is available on our Security & Trust page.
8. Your choices
You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided directly to KeptCap, request a correction, or ask us to delete business contact information where applicable. Legal rights vary by jurisdiction.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as KeptCap evolves. The effective date above will reflect the current version.
